Repairs Planner (Social Housing)
Location: Kingston upon Thames
Salary: 28,000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Planner to join a well-established organisation within the social housing sector. The Role
As a Repairs Planner, you will play a key role in coordinating maintenance and repair works, ensuring that operatives are effectively scheduled and that all jobs are completed within agreed service levels. You will act as a central point of contact between tenants, operatives, and internal teams, delivering a high standard of customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling and planning repairs and maintenance works for operatives
Managing diaries to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency
Handling inbound and outbound calls from tenants, contractors, and internal teams
Prioritising emergency and urgent repair requests
Monitoring job progress and ensuring works are completed within SLAs
Liaising with operatives and subcontractors to resolve scheduling issues
Updating systems accurately with job status, notes, and outcomes
Delivering excellent customer service and managing tenant expectations
Requirements
Previous experience working in a repairs planning or scheduling role within social housing is essential
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience using scheduling systems and housing management software
A proactive and problem-solving approach
