Are you a Rail Project Manager with experience of delivering new station projects over the value of £15m?

Do you have experience in the delivery of station AFA projects over the value of £7m?

My client is a major civil engineering contractor with a huge presence in the infrastructure industry, and due to successfully winning CP7 frameworks, they are looking to add Project Manager's to their team to work on either a new station project in the South West, or AFA schemes in the Wales and Western region.

Location: South West + 2 day's home working per week
Please note, my client is open to paying for accommodation if you aren't located locally, and this would consist of 3 days away from home per week.

Salary: £65,000 - £79,000 DOE + £6900 car allowance

You will be joining a leading principal contractor at the forefront of the UK's rail enhancements sector, celebrated for delivering complex and critical projects for Network Rail. This is your chance to be part of a team shaping the future of regional transport infrastructure.

As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of key schemes in the Wales and Western region. This is a hybrid role where you will have the autonomy to manage your own time, typically spending three days on-site or in the Bristol/Swindon office and two days working from home. Your primary focus will be to lead a new £15 million station build project, guiding it from its current design stage (GRIP 4) into full delivery. Alternatively, you could be responsible for managing a portfolio of two to three Access for All (AFA) schemes, delivering vital station upgrades like new footbridges and lift shafts.

Requirements:
Experience working as a Project Manager in the rail industry on station projects or AFA schemes for Network Rail preferred, but candidates form a rail heavy civils background will also be considered
Experience working on station enhancement & AFA projects, over the value of £15m and £7m respectively
Degree/HND/HNC or other civil engineering qualification preferred
Experience working for a tier 1/main contractor in the rail industry preferred
Experience taking projects from design development (GRIP Stage 4) into delivery
Strong client-facing skills, with experience working with Network Rail
