Description
- Managing a broad mix of ER cases: investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, performance and appeals
- Acting as a first point of contact for employees seeking guidance and support
- Providing clear, commercially focused advice aligned with governance and compliance standards
- Ensuring accurate documentation for audit and regulatory purposes
- Identifying trends and risks, proactively escalating where needed
- Collaborating with People Partners and wider teams to continuously improve processes
- Supporting exit processes and contributing to insights that shape the employee experience
- Working closely with shared services teams to streamline and enhance administrative workflows
Profile
A successful People Advisor - Employee Relations should have:
- Strong ER experience in a regulated or complex environment
- Excellent UK employment law knowledge (European exposure a bonus)
- Confidence handling sensitive, high-risk cases with professionalism and sound judgement
- Ability to balance business needs, employee experience, and compliance
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation standards
- Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads without compromising quality
- A mindset for improving and evolving processes
