This is a permanent position for an electrically biased multi skilled maintenance engineer with a well-established local manufacturer, well known for quality and precision. This role is currently working mornings and afters, but depending on the needs of the business, may sometimes include nights and weekends.

The role of the electrically biased maintenance engineer includes:

Undertaking planned preventative & breakdown maintenance around 70% electrical, primarily attending to issues with motors, inverters, electro-pneumatics, hydraulics, drives/gearboxes, pumps & seals, conveyor systems, services etc. You will create maintenance instructions and use continuous improvement tools & techniques and root cause analysis to identify and plan follow up work.

You must be a multi skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias and experience of undertaking PPM & breakdown repairs. You will understand PLC/software interrogation & fault finding Siemens S5 S7 , and as well as a manufacturing background, we are looking for an apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications.

Salary: £47,000 with multi skilled qualifications

Holidays: 25 days holidays plus 8 stats

Pension: Money Purchase Pension scheme with Aviva

Shift work includes the following:

Days: 6am-2pm Monday to Friday

Afternoons: 2.00pm - 10pm Monday to Friday

Nights: 10pm - 6am Sunday to Thursday

Weekend team: 12hrs Sat and 12hrs Sun plus either an 8 hour shift Friday or Monday (dependent upon priorities)
