Maths TeacherLocation: DerbyStart Date: 13 AprilContract: Long-term temporary (Summer Term) with potential for a permanent roleSalary: MPS / UPS (dependent on experience)The OpportunityLandau Forte College in Derby is seeking a Maths Teacher to join the department from 13 April for the Summer Term.This is a full teaching role with responsibility for planning, delivering and assessing lessons, with the potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate.The school offers a structured environment, clear behaviour systems and a supportive Maths department.The Role
- Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
- Mark and assess student work
- Monitor progress and support attainment
- Maintain clear classroom routines and expectations
- Work collaboratively within the Maths department
What We're Looking For
- QTS or recognised UK teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
- Confident planning and delivering full lessons
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Able to commit for the Summer Term
