Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager for a North Liverpool based primary school. This is a full-time, long-term role (52 weeks per year) with a daily rate of up to 200 per day.
Main Duties
- To be responsible for the development and daily management of Nursery provision and staff.
- To develop and implement effective Early Years curriculum plans and monitor outcomes taking responsibility for the
- learning and achievement of all pupils in the nursery ensuring equality of opportunity for all
- This role will have direct management responsibility for staff and the unit budget.
- Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries

- Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with pupils and their families, parents/carers,
- governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of children and their families
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school
- Take responsibility for ensuring all aspects of safeguarding are met including in line with site, local and national policies
- and guidance.
Professional Training and Qualifications
- NNEB, NVQ Level 3 Early Years Childcare and Education or equivalent
- Level 2 qualification in Maths
- Relevant Early Years curriculum training.
- A commitment to undertake further training and development
- Paediatric First Aid Training or agreement to undertake within 3 months
Experience
- Have at least four years' experience of working in an early years or educational setting with
- children aged 5 and under
- Minimum 2 years' experience of a post with management / supervisory responsibilities
- Experience of implementing a high-quality Early Years Curriculum
- Preparation for Ofsted inspections; and achievement of positive Ofsted reports.
- Has contributed to multi-disciplinary teams regarding the promotion of SEND, Safeguarding
- Health & Safety and/or emotional well-being of children.
- Experience of working with a team of professionals regarding planning and assessments.
- Experience of working in a team and supporting colleagues
- Experience of supporting children with SEND
