£35,000 £38,000
Interaction Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Assistant Manager to join a busy retail store in Peterborough. This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role within a well-established and growing business.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am 5:00pm
- Every other Saturday: 8:00am 12:00pm
The Role:
- Support the Store Manager with daily operations
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the team
- Drive sales and deliver excellent customer service
- Manage stock levels and merchandising displays
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues
- Ensure health & safety standards are met
About You:
- Previous retail supervisory or management experience
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach
- Experience in sales and merchandising
- Bilingual/multilingual skills (desirable)
- Timber or building materials experience (advantageous)
