General Operative

HRGO are recruiting a General Operative to assist our team of Horticulture Technicians in Manchester and Liverpool. You will be responsible for assisting the Technician in all aspects of horticultural upkeep.

Hours: 8am starts, hours will vary depending on workload (role will be between 30-40 hours)

Pay: 13.45 per hour, paid weekly

Contract Type: Temporary

Location: Sites across Manchester & Liverpool, transport can be provided from certain locations

Responsibilities:

• Assisting Horticultural Technician with all aspects of upkeep of the sites
• Carrying plants and other greenery
• Watering plants
• Removing any waste
• Moving pots
• Interacting with customers

Requirements:

• The role involves lots of lifting and moving
• Good communication skills
• Presentable
• Able to work proactively and assist the Technician with requests
