Job Description

Role: Catering Manager

Pay: 15.90

Duration: 2-3 weeks

Key responsibilities/duties:

  • Order stock
  • Rotate stock
  • Train staff
  • Hands-on role
  • Till work
  • Update prices
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Create menus
  • Follow health and safety; promote health and safety as a top priority

Person specification / requirements:

  • Mass catering experience (essential)
  • Working in a subsidised canteen (desirable / essential)
  • Level 3 food hygiene certificate (essential)
  • Leader / management experience
  • Ability to work on own initiative in a structured, logical approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant computer skills / ordering systems (till system / invoicing experience with a cashier system desirable)
