Job Description

Head Chef

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a well-established golf club in Hornsea.

Position Details:

  • Location: Hornsea
  • Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Working Days: 5 days per week (including weekends)
  • Pay: Up to 15 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations and daily food service
  • Plan and develop menus suitable for members and events
  • Manage stock, ordering, and food costs
  • Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff
  • Ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety compliance
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality meals and presentation
  • Use locally sourced produce where possible

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
