They take pride in excellent customer service, strong community values, and providing reliable service to staff and visitors.Your new roleWe are recruiting a Premises Officer for an initial 3-month assignment, working 37 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of early starts (07:00-15:00) and late starts (11:30-19:30).This role is paid at approximately £16 per hour, via Umbrella or PAYE. We do not pay CIS. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of a range of buildings.Key duties include:

• Carrying out routine service inspections.
• Monitoring energy and water usage (readings and basic reporting).
• Controlling and operating building services and systems.
• Completing straightforward daily maintenance tasks.
• Receiving and handling deliveries of materials, furniture, and equipment.
• Managing waste disposal in line with company requirements.
• Setting up meeting rooms, training rooms, and supporting general operations.
• Attending other buildings when needed to support staff and check facilities (occasional weekend work may be required).
• Carrying out all duties with a focus on customer service, best value, and positive representation of the company's values

What you'll need to succeed

• You must be literate and numerate.
• A multi-trade background is highly desirable.
• A practical, hands-on approach to building maintenance.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel between locations when required.
• Flexibility to work varying shift patterns (early and late starts).
