IT Risk Analyst

What You'll Do
- Support IT risk governance operations across teams, including control assessments, risk committees, risk acceptances, risk register management, remediation efforts, and action tracking
- Assist in identifying, capturing, and managing IT risks from teams, including those from vulnerabilities, incidents, and formal control assessments
- Collaborate with IT teams to define, track, and monitor remediation actions for control weaknesses, including those from vulnerability scans and penetration testing
- Support periodic control assurance activities through application and system control reviews
- Assist in producing monthly management information and reports to support IT risk activities
- Provide technology risk and controls advice to IT teams; liaise with control owners bank-wide, including Information Security and Business Continuity
- Collaborate with Operational Risk, Internal, and External Audit teams to support assurance and governance activities
What You Bring
- Professional qualifications such as CISA, RiskIT, CISM, CISSP, or CSSLP (desirable)
- Knowledge of technology risk/control taxonomies and industry frameworks (COBIT, ISO 27001, ISO/IEC 27034)
- Experience in IT with a risk/controls focus, or in IT-specialized internal audit
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) and IT General Controls (ITGCs)
- Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills; ability to challenge IT colleagues on control design/operation and track agreed remediation activities
- Understanding of audit requirements; ability to provide accurate, timely information in response to requests
