An opportunity for an experienced Senior Minerals and Waste Planner to support a local authority planning team, focusing on Development Management and Enforcement within a minerals and waste planning setting.
This role involves managing a range of planning applications and enforcement cases, alongside site visits and stakeholder engagement to support effective decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
Manage minerals and waste planning applications through the Development Management process
Undertake enforcement investigations and support case resolution
Carry out site visits and attend meetings as required
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
Provide professional planning advice in line with policy and legislation
Requirements:
Significant experience in Development Management
Experience within a minerals and waste planning environment (preferred)
Knowledge of planning enforcement processes
Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Full time position (37 hours per week), with flexibility on working hours and open to part-time candidates.
