Skelmersdale
106 per day Term Time Only
8:30am - 3:30pm

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in schools across the Skelmersdale area. About the Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning and develop essential life skills in a safe and supportive environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND

  • Support students with complex needs within the classroom

  • Assist with personal care where required

  • Promote independence, engagement, and positive behaviour

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to enhance learning outcomes



Role Details

  • Monday to Friday

  • 8:30am - 3:30pm

  • Term time only

  • 106 per day



What We're Looking For

  • Experience in care, support work, or a similar hands-on role

  • Confidence supporting individuals with additional or complex needs

  • Comfortable providing personal care

  • A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach

  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
