My client is looking for an ambitious Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their growing Winchester team, giving you the opportunity to strengthen both your technical expertise and leadership skills.
My client is an established, independent Geotechnical and Environmental Consultancy with over 40 years of success. You will be part of a collaborative, high-performing team known for delivering practical, value-driven solutions and investing in people.
In this Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental Engineer role, you will be doing:
Managing projects from site works through to delivery
Coordinating investigations, stakeholders, and outputs
Producing and reviewing technical reports and designs
Supporting quotes and technical proposals
Leading client meetings and acting as key contact
Supervising site activities and maintaining quality
Mentoring junior engineers and supporting development
To succeed as a Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will have:
A degree in Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Geology or similar
Progression towards Chartership
Experience with site investigations and foundation design
Strong understanding of soil mechanics
Knowledge of contaminated land (preferred)
Commercial awareness and workload management skills
Strong communication and client-facing ability
You will receive:
£30,000 - £40,000 salary (dependent on experience)
22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (increasing with service)

Flexible working around core hours (10am-4pm)
