Job Description
We are seeing a dedicated Secondary teacher to join a school in Essex within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), working with pupils in Key stage 2 and 4. The school supports children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Many of whom require additional guidance to access learning and develop positive behaviours. This is a very rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
The ideal candidate will have
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, or within a PRU/ SEN setting
- A calm and patient approach
- Strong communication
- A passion for supporting vulnerable children
- Relevant qualifications
