Senior Transport Planner

Job Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will take ownership of projects, manage client relationships, and support the development of junior team members. You'll be involved in both technical delivery and helping to grow the Cheltenham office.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the preparation of Transport Assessments, Statements, and Travel Plans
Managing projects from inception through to completion
Undertaking and reviewing junction modelling (e.g. Junctions 9, LinSig)
Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
Mentoring and supporting junior staff
Contributing to business development and helping grow the Cheltenham team

Requirements
Proven experience in transport planning, ideally within a consultancy environment
Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and transport guidance
Experience managing projects and client relationships
Proficiency in relevant modelling software (e.g. Junctions 9, LinSig)
Excellent report writing and analytical skills
Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth
Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
