Despatch Operator

Our client is seeking a Despatch Operative to join their team on a 12-month PAYE contract. The rate is 13.59 per hour during training, rising to 15.10 per hour after successful probation.

This role involves packing products, parts, materials, and tooling for shipment across the UK and internationally, ensuring everything is packed safely, securely, and to ATA300 standards. You'll also support despatch admin, check shipping documentation, and operate a forklift truck to load freight and move assembled propellers.

• Location: Gloucester Business Park, Brockworth, Gloucestershire, GL3 4AQ

• Contract: 12 months, PAYE

• Rate: 13.59 per hour training, rising to 15.10 per hour after probation

• Shift: Full-time

• Forklift licence: Required

• Aerospace/manufacturing experience: Preferred

• Pack products, parts, materials, and tooling for shipment.

• Check despatch paperwork and shipping documentation.

• Load freight safely using a forklift truck.

• Support inventory control and despatch admin.

• Help maintain compliance with export, aviation security, and quality requirements.

• Previous warehouse or packing experience.

• Good computer skills and attention to detail.

• Current valid forklift licence.

• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing is desirable.

• Oracle R12 experience and Known Consignor qualification are a bonus.
