An established professional services firm is seeking a Billing Coordinator to support the smooth, accurate and timely production of client billing. As a Billing Coordinator, you will play a key part in managing the end to end billing process, ensuring invoices and credit notes are produced correctly, reflect engagement terms, and maintain strong client communication standards.
Key Responsibilities Include: - Processing credit note requests and ensuring accurate recording within the billing system.
- Supporting partners and internal teams with client billing, including creating PDF invoices and checking all data aligns with internal policies and client agreements.
- Ensuring billing activity is consistent with engagement letters, pricing structures and wider accounting policies.
- Setting up automatic billing schedules where appropriate.
- Reviewing and enhancing billing processes to improve efficiency and internal controls.
- Maintaining client standing data and ensuring accuracy across all records.
- Carrying out ad hoc tasks to support the wider billing and credit control team.
Skills & Experience Required - Experience working within a finance or billing team.
- Strong customer service focus and the ability to build excellent working relationships with colleagues, partners and clients.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to spot discrepancies and maintain accuracy.
- Confident working to deadlines and operating effectively within a team environment.
