Billing Coordinator

An established professional services firm is seeking a Billing Coordinator to support the smooth, accurate and timely production of client billing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance team experience who enjoys working with detail, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and contributing to a high-performing billing and credit function.

As a Billing Coordinator, you will play a key part in managing the end to end billing process, ensuring invoices and credit notes are produced correctly, reflect engagement terms, and maintain strong client communication standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Processing credit note requests and ensuring accurate recording within the billing system.
• Supporting partners and internal teams with client billing, including creating PDF invoices and checking all data aligns with internal policies and client agreements.
• Ensuring billing activity is consistent with engagement letters, pricing structures and wider accounting policies.
• Setting up automatic billing schedules where appropriate.
• Reviewing and enhancing billing processes to improve efficiency and internal controls.
• Maintaining client standing data and ensuring accuracy across all records.
• Carrying out ad hoc tasks to support the wider billing and credit control team.

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience working within a finance or billing team.
• Strong customer service focus and the ability to build excellent working relationships with colleagues, partners and clients.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to spot discrepancies and maintain accuracy.
• Confident working to deadlines and operating effectively within a team environment.
