Working Hours: Monday to Friday (7:00am 4:30pm)
We re currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller / MET Technician to join an established and busy bodyshop in the Eastbourne area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior, hands-on professional looking to take on a key position within the workshop, combining leadership with light technical duties.
The Role
You ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop, while also supporting with light MET duties when required.
- Managing and coordinating workshop activity and workflow
- Supporting technicians to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Carrying out light MET duties where needed
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within timescales
- Maintaining a safe, organised and productive workshop environment
What We re Looking For
- Minimum 10 years experience within a bodyshop/workshop environment
- Strong understanding of MET duties and workshop operations
- Proven ability to lead and organise a team
- Hands-on, proactive and highly organised
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
