Are you an experienced Legal Secretary with a passion for delivering exceptional support in a fast-paced environment? Our client, a highly respected and well-established law firm in Mansfield, is seeking a confident and organised individual to join its Civil Litigation team.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy legal setting and enjoys being a key part of a professional, supportive team. You will provide high quality secretarial and administrative assistance to fee earners, ensuring the smooth running of a varied civil litigation caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the litigation department
  • Accurate and efficient audio typing of correspondence, statements and legal documents
  • Managing diaries, arranging appointments and coordinating meetings
  • Handling incoming calls and client enquiries with professionalism and care
  • Maintaining well organised electronic and paper filing systems
  • Assisting with document preparation, court bundles and general case management tasks

About You

We're looking for someone who brings both skill and enthusiasm to the role. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong audio typing experience (essential)
  • Excellent administrative and organisational abilities
  • Previous experience working within a legal environment, ideally litigation
  • A proactive approach and the ability to manage competing priorities
