Job Description

My client is a prestigious and world renowned brand in Ayrshire. They are looking to add an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to their team. This is a career changing opportunity, with defined development and progression.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Support the preparation of forecasting documentation
  • Review and validate monthly accruals
  • Process prepaid invoices and allocate monthly distributions
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies
  • Manage and support month-end closing procedures
  • Prepare monthly payroll analysis reports
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure purchase ledger and general ledger balances are aligned at month-end

What you should have

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
  • Capable of analysing and interpreting financial and business information
  • Skilled in report writing, business correspondence, and procedural documentation
  • Confident in presenting information to management, clients, and stakeholders
