TimePlan Education is seeking a reliable and organised Science Technician to join a supportive and well-resourced secondary school in the New Forest, Hampshire, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting a busy science department and helping to deliver engaging practical lessons to students.

The Role
Preparing, setting up, and clearing away equipment for practical science lessons
Supporting teachers and students during laboratory sessions
Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring it is safe and in good working order
Managing stock levels and ordering resources when required
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Assisting with general administrative tasks within the science department

The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working in a school laboratory or similar environment (desirable)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Good understanding of health and safety in a laboratory setting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting staff and students
Available to start as soon as possible
