Temp to Perm Site Manager

Job Title: Projects Site Manager Location: Various project locations Reports to: Operations Manager Direct Reports: Subcontractors, Site Operatives Salary: 40k - 45k (depending on experience) Working Hours: Full-time, office/site-based.

Overview: We are seeking a hands-on and organised Site Manager to take full responsibility for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of construction projects with an annual value of up to 1,000,000. The role requires strong leadership on-site, a clear understanding of health & safety standards, and the ability to deliver projects to time, quality, and commercial expectations. The Site Manager will liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers daily and work closely with the Project Support team and Commercial team to ensure smooth running and proper documentation throughout each job.

Key Responsibilities: Health & Safety Always maintain high safety standards on-site Update and maintain Safetymate (H&S system) Carry out daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inspections Ensure all RAMS, permits, and statutory requirements are in place and followed Promote a safety-first culture and report all incidents, near-misses, and risks promptly

Operational Site Management Lead all day-to-day site activities, supervising labour and subcontractors Coordinate deliveries, logistics, and sequencing of trades Maintain programme milestones and report delays or issues proactively via (url removed) Maintain a tidy, organised, and compliant site at all times Liaise regularly with the Operations Manager and internal teams to provide site updates

Commercial Awareness & Delivery Monitor use of labour and materials to ensure budget alignment Support subcontractor variations and validate works completed Keep accurate site diaries, records, and progress photos via (url removed) Assist with final account preparation by ensuring all relevant site information is properly captured and reported

Client & Stakeholder Interface Maintain a professional and cooperative approach with clients, tenants, and third parties Provide regular updates and resolve site-based concerns or queries quickly

Key Skills & Experience: Experience managing small-to-medium construction projects as a Site Manager or Supervisor Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safety procedures Confident in reading drawings, specifications, and RAMS Experience dealing with subcontractors, client reps, and inspectors Familiarity with basic site-level commercial controls (labour tracking, materials, variations)

Qualifications & Certifications: SMSTS or SSSTS (required) First Aid at Work (required) CSCS (Supervisor or Manager card) Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, Working at Height (desirable) Full UK Driving Licence
