Position

Recovery Worker - full time, permanent, based in Ludlow, Shropshire (SY8). Starting salary £25,000, rising each year to £30,000.

Main duties
  • Support clients to identify goals, ambitions and passions.
  • Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans.
  • Build and maintain meaningful, respectful relationships with clients.
  • Manage an active caseload, ensuring timely engagement and consistent care.
  • Coordinate with partner organisations to provide continuity of care.
  • Perform intervention delivery and care coordination activities.
  • Some Saturday working may be required to meet service needs.
Qualifications & experience
  • Compassionate and motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrable experience within health, social care, criminal justice or a related setting; or a clear motivation for working in the drug and alcohol sector.
  • Organised, with excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high quality services.
  • Positive and engaging approach to clients and stakeholders.
Other requirements

Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are required for this role.
