Description

What the Successful Travel Coordinator will be expected to do:

  • Coordinate and manage all travel arrangements for employees, including flights, accommodation, and transport.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with travel suppliers and negotiate cost-effective agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's travel policies and procedures.
  • Monitor travel budgets and provide cost-saving recommendations where applicable.
  • Resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of travel schedules and expenses.
  • Prepare reports on travel expenditures and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with the other business units to ensure smooth operations.

Profile

A successful Travel Coordinator should have:

  • Experience in travel planning or coordination within a professional environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and compliance policies.
