Graduate Quantity Surveyor - Stratford
Location: Stratford (Office-based)
Salary: 25,000 - 35,000
A well-established specialist subcontractor in the interiors sector is looking to recruit a motivated Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team at its Stratford office. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to kick-start their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
The Role
You will support the commercial team across a range of drylining and interior fit-out packages, gaining exposure to projects from tender stage through to final account. Working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors, you will develop a strong understanding of subcontractor commercial management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with cost management across multiple projects
- Supporting the preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Assisting with procurement of materials and subcontract packages
- Monitoring project costs and helping to report on financial performance
- Supporting contract administration and documentation
- Building relationships with site teams, suppliers, and clients
About You
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication and organisational abilities
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Drylining or interiors experience/knowledge is desirable, but not essential
