Job Title: HGV 1 Weekend Driver Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable HGV 1 Weekend Driver to join our team in the logistics, distribution, and supply chain industry. This is a weekend position with the option of working more days if you wish
The successful candidate should be available to work one or both days over the weekends.

Job Duties:

• Transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations
• Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections
• Ensuring timely and professional communication with the despatch team
• Performing routine vehicle checks and maintenance

Required Qualifications:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence
• Tacho card
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HGV driver

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HGV driver

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
• Strong communication and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge

Working Conditions

The role of an HGV 1 Weekend Driver involves working weekends, often in variable weather conditions. The job may require long hours

Rates of pay based on 2 years experience - £19.00-£24.00 per hour
