This is a contract position for 10 months initally. Typical Accountabilities & activities will include Developing manufacturing processes by studying product requirements researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment understanding feedback from the client operators, conferring with equipment vendors or external suppliers To prepare for and organise Manufacturing Maturity Reviews, maintain governance through the Lifecycle Management process and create / contribute / review and/or lead Manufacturing Plans Provide manufacturing decision-making information with resolution proposals by reviewing production schedules reviewing production labor and material costs estimating future requirements prepare product and process reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends Ability to resolve complex product and/or production issues & constraints (relieving bottlenecks) on shop floor reacting efficiently to escalation from manufacturing teams Improve manufacturing efficiency by capacity analysis, simulation planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout Review manufacturing documentation, can include input to process specific risk assessments, COSHH data, technical reports, specification Assure product and process quality by designing methods validation/verification of process capabilities establishing standards confirming manufacturing processes Contribute to failure investigations to know problem-solving techniques (e.g. 8D) Assure manufacturing data i.e. routings, production plans, control plans and electronic work instructions Identifying continuous improvement activities to develop skills and competencies within Manufacturing Engineering Complete improvement and development projects by training and interacting with the organisations' manufacturing engineer community Promoting a culture of best practice sharing and knowledge exploitation Mentor, coach and develop more junior members of the team in order to develop overall capability Providing domain experience in support of customer and user engagement and product road maps Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations What we need from you Degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience in role. Chief Commercial Officer Our client is a scaling, private equity-backed group targeting further significant growth across their multi-site locations which manufactures, assembles and supplies EMS, Electronic and/or PCB products across a range of industries. To support their continued successful growth, they are seeking a new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) who will be responsible for leading and delivering the Group's future revenue growth strategy, with a clear objective to grow turnover to £120 million over the next three years through a combination of organic growth and acquisition integration. The role will carry full accountability for commercial performance across the Group, including sales leadership, pipeline development, forecasting discipline, performance management and execution of the agreed growth plan. Following an initial period of understanding the business, markets, customers and capabilities, the CCO will be expected to develop and present a clear commercial strategy to the Board. A global technology company are looking for a Management Accountant to join its established finance team at a key UK manufacturing site in Castle Combe. This is an excellent opportunity to play a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment supporting operational and strategic decision-making. Long term, this role will see you progress to Financial Controller over the next 3- Working within a small, collaborative finance team, you will take ownership of core management accounting activities, support system transformation, and partner closely with stakeholders across operations, engineering, and commercial teams. The Role You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information, while driving improvements across reporting, controls, and processes.
