As Finance Manager (Revenue & Cost of Sales) at Panda, you will take ownership of accurate accounting, reporting and control across revenue and cost of sales for multiple businesses. This means getting into the detail, questioning data where needed, explaining performance clearly and helping senior leaders understand the story behind the results. This Finance Manager (Revenue & Cost of Sales) role combines technical accounting, commercial insight, stakeholder management and people leadership. It also offers the opportunity to support ERP implementation and finance transformation as Panda continues to strengthen its systems, processes and reporting capability. What you ll be doing You will be responsible for ensuring revenue and cost of sales are accurately accounted for each month across all UK Processing businesses, with strong financial control across both the P&L and balance sheet. Key responsibilities will include: Owning month-end accounting and reporting for revenue and cost of sales across UK Processing. Ensuring intercompany transactions are recorded correctly, with a clear understanding of UK operational structures. Reviewing gross margin performance and explaining variances against budget, forecasts and KPIs. Partnering with FP&A to align month-end accounting with weekly performance and insight reporting. Investigating and resolving financial queries, discrepancies and data issues across Finance, IT and Operations. Interrogating and validating data across multiple systems, including Sage, Workday, AMCS and BI dashboards. Maintaining robust balance sheet accounting for revenue and cost of sales accruals. Preparing and presenting monthly results to the Financial Controller, Finance Director and CFO. Supporting annual budgeting and external audit processes relating to revenue and cost of sales. Contributing to the successful embedding of the new ERP system. Managing, coaching and developing one direct report, a Management Accountant. About You You will be a technically strong and commercially aware finance professional who enjoys working close to operations. You will be confident challenging numbers that do not look right, comfortable working with complex data, and able to explain financial performance in a clear, practical way. You will bring: Full accountancy qualification, such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Strong financial control experience across both P&L and balance sheet. Experience working with complex data and multiple financial systems. Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot issues, trends and inconsistencies. A proactive, problem-solving approach. Confidence working with stakeholders across Finance, IT, FP&A and Operations. Clear communication skills, including confidence presenting to senior leaders. The role: Regulatory Operations: Overseeing the operations of the Regulatory team including managing key processes such as Rule amendments each Season, the production of the annual Premier League Handbook, UEFA Licensing, safeguarding audits and administration of the League's investigations/disciplinary proceedings and producing presentations and other materials. Reporting and Presentations : Support the planning, coordination and production of reports and presentations provided by the Regulatory and Enforcement teams to key internal and external stakeholders. Budget Management and Tracking: Collaborate with colleagues to track, forecast and reconcile the team budget. Strategic Planning: Playing a key role to help the team meet short-term and long-term objectives, including objective setting and strategy sessions. Driving Efficiencies: Identifying areas for improvement of operational efficiencies across the team, including innovating through technology. Knowledge Management: Ensuring pro-forma documents/templates are kept up to date and monitoring information flows and delegation of work across the team. Training: Identifying opportunities and assisting with the organising of professional development training. Event organisation : Plan and organise events and group meetings. Requirements for the role: Experience in legal operations and event planning and/or project management or planning role. Ability to autonomously identify and implement operational efficiencies/improvements. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and an ability to learn quickly. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor communication in accordance with the audience. Excellent work ethic and ability to cope with pressurised situations, multiple workstreams and tight timeframes whilst maintaining a professional approach. Disrepair Surveyor Location: East London Contract Type: Temporary (Ongoing) Rate: 43.79 Umbrella per hour Hours: 40 hours per week - Hybrid Social Housing Experience Required Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known client based in the East London area, who are looking for a highly skilled Disrepair Surveyor to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Disrepair Surveyor Duties: Where required, design and specify works, obtain estimates, oversee delivery, monitor expenditure, and complete sign off. High level of resident engagement to understand and document their concerns regarding their home. To collaborate with housing and legal teams in addressing potential disputes related to disrepair claims. To undertake inspections and audits of partnering contractors particularly in relation to disrepair. Reviewing completed work against the schedule and contractor invoices and resolving issues as necessary. To provide management reports and schedules relating to any deficiencies identified, and when necessary, certify rectification of snagging of items. Work closely with the Repairs Partnering team ensuring all relevant legislation is being adhered to. Ensure safety, quality, and productivity assessments are carried out so that all work complies with current codes of practice, standards, and legislation, particularly health and safety. Where required, design and specify works, obtain estimates, oversee delivery, monitor expenditure, and complete sign off. As required support other surveying functions within Housing Assets.
