Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Location: Lincoln Main works

Hourly rate From: £15.26

Driving Required: Yes

Working Pattern: Full Time

The hours would be four days per week and one day per week ,with lunch taken away(this equates to 37 hours per week)

What are we looking for?

Are you an organised individual with experience in Stores/Warehouse operations? Join our team as a Material Handling Operator and grow your career with us!

Responsibilities:

As a Material Handling Operator, your main duties will include:

  • Performing logistics processing, including Goods Receipt, Warehouse Management, Transport, and Dispatch
  • Ensuring the accuracy of incoming goods and addressing any visible damage
  • Operating equipment such as forklifts and hand-guided industrial trucks safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining data accuracy in our systems and conducting regular stock maintenance
  • Packing, assembling, and preparing deliveries according to shipping instructions
  • Safely transporting goods within and sometimes outside the premises

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in Stores or material control (ideally within a rail environment)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements
  • Knowledge of health and safety practises
  • IT literacy, particularly in MS Office applications and SAP
  • A full driving licence and FLT experience

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience in logistics processing in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with stock management systems

Technologies:

  • Forklifts and hand-guided industrial trucks
  • MS Office Suite
  • SAP for inventory management
