The Role You will work closely with our Engineering Management team, Chief Engineer and Project Managers , bringing a smart, commercial mindset to every project - ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards . The role involves travel across your region and wider UK projects, with overnight stays typically between 1-4 nights per week , depending on project requirements. What You'll Do Deliver high-quality AV installations from 1st fix through to commissioning Lead and support on-site installation teams delivering bespoke AV solutions Oversee off-site prefabrication and on-site system builds Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert-level support Ensure all work complies with industry standards and health & safety requirements Develop and improve engineering best practices, processes and documentation Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development Stay up to date with emerging AV technologies and contribute to technical roadmaps Act as a subject-matter expert in one or more core AV technologies Deliver outstanding customer service with a right-first-time engineering mindset What You'll Bring Extensive experience in the Audio-Visual industry , with a strong background in AV systems installation and integration Proven hands-on experience delivering projects end-to-end Strong technical knowledge of: Video distribution AV networking Audio processing Projection and display systems Excellent organisational and time-management skills Willingness to travel UK-wide, including overnight stays Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, AV Technology or a related field - desirable Industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-I or CTS-D Experience using AutoCAD or similar AV design tools
