Main duties of the job

Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You'll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery. This is a frontline role at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring they're always treated with respect and dignity.

You will work as part of a team with the aims of:

  • understanding your clients
  • keeping them safe
  • creating a plan they can achieve with your support
  • checking in with them and reviewing their progress
  • keeping accurate and timely records of your contact with them
  • working effectively with other social care providers (e.g. Housing) to cover all aspects of their successful recovery
  • continuously learning and reflecting to improve the outcomes for your clients
  • supporting your colleagues across the service to deliver excellent care
Essential Skills
  • Relevant experience in a similar role (such as working in a health and social care, criminal justice setting and/or clear motivations for applying)
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and/or on your own
  • Experience in partnership working, care coordination, and intervention delivery
