Carpenter Oak Frame Construction (Temporary)

Rate: 192- 200/day (DOE)

The Opportunity

Our client, a specialist contractor, is looking for an experienced Carpenter on a temporary basis to support the construction of a bespoke oak frame building in the GU26 area. This is a great short-term opportunity to be involved in a high-quality timber project using traditional methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the construction and erection of an oak frame structure

• Carry out accurate carpentry and joinery work to a high standard

• Work with solid oak and traditional timber framing techniques

• Support the wider site team to keep the project on schedule

• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, ideally with oak frame or timber frame experience

• Strong structural carpentry knowledge

• Ability to work from drawings with minimal supervision

• Own tools and PPE

• Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Gold)

• Reliable and able to hit the ground running
