If you enjoy working outdoors, are physically fit, and want to contribute to a cleaner environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Shift: 6am to 3pm, Monday - Friday - adhoc
What You'll Do:
As a Refuse/Recycling Operative, you will play a vital role in keeping our streets clean and green. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting bin collection vehicles with efficient loading and unloading.
- Assisting in the delivery of caddy bags to residents when necessary.
- Engaging in manual handling tasks to ensure waste is collected safely and effectively.
- Operating machinery under guidance to aid in the refuse and recycling process.
- Walking extensively throughout your shift, contributing to your fitness while performing an essential service.
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A good level of physical fitness to handle manual labor and extensive walking.
- Experience or willingness to learn about the operation of refuse collection machinery.
- A team-oriented attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Note: This position requires candidates to be physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks safely. Training will be provided for machinery operation.
