We are working exclusively with our client to recruit a dynamic Engineering Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in logistics, warehouse operations, and supply chain optimisation.

Summary of the role

As Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing engineering and operational performance, ensuring processes run efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. You ll be responsible for leading teams, improving systems, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support seamless operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and develop engineering and operational teams to achieve performance targets
  • Drive continuous improvement across logistics, warehouse, and supply chain processes
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively to deliver value
  • Oversee materials management to ensure efficiency and availability
  • Implement and optimise systems
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and operational standards
  • Support strategic initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs

About you

  • Proven experience in an Engineering leadership role
  • Strong background in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations
  • Skilled in vendor negotiation and supplier management
  • Experience using ERP systems
  • A confident, personable leader who motivates and develops teams
  • Results-driven with a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively

This role is Mon-Fri 39hrs per week. All between 08:00am - 17:00pm (so zero shifts involved)
