Drainage Patching Team Leader

Location: Hillington, Glasgow

Employment type: Full Time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities available

Roles Available: 2 - also possible to take a team of 2 on as well as individual appointments

About the role

Working as a Team leader to deliver Patching, Lining & Cutting solutions to our valued clients, in both regulatory and non regulatory Environments. The majority of works will be on our established frameworks with the country s leading water companies.

You will work as a team member and being responsible for all site activity ensuring the team are working safely and efficiently and ensuring that work is completed within the required timescale.

As a Drainage Patching Team Leader, you will

  • To manage Patching, Lining & Cutting works completed on site.
  • To offer support so that all Ipsum site and reporting process are adhered to fully
  • To be a role model for your team, passing on experience to further the development and skill set of operatives
  • Work towards the compliance of site staff with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment
  • Ensure Company policies are always adhered to.
  • Ensure all site related incidents are reported.
  • Identify and react swiftly to resolve problems before they escalate.
  • Always establish good relationships and communication and resolve issues and early resolution of any potential problems.
  • You need to be flexible too: we operate 24/7 so there may be early starts, weekend working and an out-of-hours working across the UK.

About you

  • Previous experience and/or qualifications within the Utilities and/or Drainage Industry
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
  • Patching City and Guilds
  • EUSR Patching and Lining
  • Experience of leading a patching team
  • NRSWA Streetworks
  • Confined space level 2 and above
