Senior High Voltage Technician
Salary: £30,000
Location: On-site
Contract: Full Time Permanent

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior High Voltage Technician to join a specialist electronics manufacturing environment.

This role involves the assembly, testing and repair of high voltage power supply units and PCB systems. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, supporting production processes and maintaining high technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret circuit diagrams and technical drawings to assemble PCBs and high voltage power supply units
  • Carry out intricate surface mount (SMT) remedial work
  • Support the production of moulds as part of the manufacturing process
  • Test completed units to ensure functionality and quality standards are met
  • Diagnose and repair faulty or returned units
  • Prepare and package finished products for shipment
  • Maintain accurate records of manufacturing and testing history
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping within the work environment
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for the quality and integrity of your own work
  • Carry out final inspections to ensure products meet required standards
  • Provide support to the Production Manager when required, including:
    • Ordering supplies
    • Coordinating transport/logistics
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years practical experience within the electronics industry
  • Experience working with PCBs and electronic assembly
  • Understanding of circuit diagrams and technical drawings
  • Formal qualifications in electronics are desirable but not essential
