Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Senior High Voltage Technician to join a specialist electronics manufacturing environment.
This role involves the assembly, testing and repair of high voltage power supply units and PCB systems. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, supporting production processes and maintaining high technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret circuit diagrams and technical drawings to assemble PCBs and high voltage power supply units
- Carry out intricate surface mount (SMT) remedial work
- Support the production of moulds as part of the manufacturing process
- Test completed units to ensure functionality and quality standards are met
- Diagnose and repair faulty or returned units
- Prepare and package finished products for shipment
- Maintain accurate records of manufacturing and testing history
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping within the work environment
Additional Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the quality and integrity of your own work
- Carry out final inspections to ensure products meet required standards
- Provide support to the Production Manager when required, including:
- Ordering supplies
- Coordinating transport/logistics
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years practical experience within the electronics industry
- Experience working with PCBs and electronic assembly
- Understanding of circuit diagrams and technical drawings
- Formal qualifications in electronics are desirable but not essential
