Commercial Property Solicitor

Location: Hybrid / London

PQE: Minimum 5 years' PQE (England & Wales)

Salary: Market Rate

My client is seeking an experienced, commercially astute Commercial Property Solicitor to join their growing and highly regarded team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of high-quality commercial property matters while playing a key role in supporting the continued growth and success of the department.

Key Responsibilities

The role will include (but not be limited to):

  • Acting on a wide range of commercial property transactions, including:
  • Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property (freehold and leasehold)
  • Acting for developers on site acquisitions, development schemes, and onward disposals
  • Commercial leasing (landlord and tenant), including agreements for lease
  • Real estate finance and secured lending transactions, acting for lenders and borrowers
  • Investment property matters for portfolio clients
  • Managing files from instruction to completion with a high degree of autonomy
  • Providing clear, commercial, and solution-focused advice to clients
  • Liaising directly with clients, agents, lenders, and other professional advisers
  • Supporting Partners on complex, high-value or time-sensitive transactions as required
  • Maintaining excellent client service standards and building long-term client relationships
  • Contributing to business development initiatives and the wider growth of the department
  • Ensuring compliance with SRA, AML, and internal regulatory requirements

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Minimum 5 years' PQE with a strong background in commercial property
  • Proven experience managing a varied commercial property caseload independently
  • Sound technical knowledge with strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Experience acting for developers, investors, and/or lenders
  • Confident communicator with excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing deadlines effectively
  • Strong client-handling skills with a commercial, business-focused mindset
