Residential Conveyancer

Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established and growing law firm on a permanent, full-time basis in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident conveyancing professional to join a supportive and busy property team handling a varied caseload of residential matters.

The successful candidate will manage their own high volume conveyancing caseload independently while delivering a high standard of client care within a fast-paced and professional environment. The firm offer 26 days holidays plus bank holidays, company pension scheme and free local parking.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• New build transactions
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity
• Shared ownership matters
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties
• Managing files efficiently in line with compliance and billing targets
• Delivering excellent client service throughout the transaction process

This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancer who enjoys managing their own files autonomously while working within a collaborative and supportive team.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, Legal Executives or experienced non-qualified Conveyancers with a minimum of 3 years' residential conveyancing experience.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• The ability to independently manage a residential conveyancing caseload
• Experience handling freehold, leasehold, new build and remortgage matters
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• A proactive and organised approach to workload management
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
• The ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
