Job Description

We are almost two years into an ambitious organisational strategy, and this is an exciting moment to join the organisation as a Senior Fundraising Officer. The public fundraising programme is at a pivotal stage of development. As Senior Fundraising Officer, you will lead the development and optimisation of multi-channel fundraising activity, using data, insight and testing to grow income, improve supporter value and expand reach into new audiences. The role is responsible for individual giving, challenge events, community-led fundraising (including virtual challenges), lottery and raffles.

You don t need to be a cyclist to work at the organisation, but you do need to have a strong commitment to their work. This is a senior role with responsibility for driving income growth, campaign performance and audience development across the public fundraising programme. The role plays a key part in building long-term supporter relationships and strengthening public fundraising capability. As Senior Fundraising Officer, you will lead the development of a more relationship-led approach to fundraising, building pipelines, improving supporter experience, and delivering the organisation s new fundraising strategy.

The organisation is inclusive and particularly welcomes applications from candidates from a broad range of backgrounds. They strongly believe that diversity strengthens their work. If you are already passionate about cycling, that s great, many of the team are too. But if you are simply really excellent at what you do, no matter what your background, that is what matters most.
