Class 1 Driver - Leicester
Gi Group are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to support the transport operation of a well known parcel distribution company. If you're confident behind the wheel and adaptable to different routes, we'd love to hear from you.
Shift Details:
Shifts available: Monday to Sunday - Various start times between 12:00-20:00
Pay rates:
Basic Pay - 20.34
Saturday - 26.36
Sunday - 29.42
Overtime rates are also available
What we're looking for:
Category C+E Licence, DIGI and CPC card
12 months experience driving Class 1 vehicles
Clean driving licence record with no more than 6 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)
Job role:
RDC Trunking around different locations
1-4 drops per shift
Handballing may be required, but a majority loads do not require it
Ensure that the Company's health and safety standards and practices are followed
Technical skills:
Able to follow instructions, work to deadlines independently
Be comfortable driving Class 1 vehicles in different sites
Computer literate, customer friendly and helpful at all times
