Commercial Gas / Mechanical Engineer East Sussex
A well-established building services and maintenance contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Gas / Mechanical Engineer to support a growing portfolio of commercial and public sector contracts across East Sussex.
This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer seeking long-term stability, strong overtime potential, and varied work across high-profile commercial sites.
The Role
Duties will include:
- Commercial gas PPM maintenance
- Reactive breakdowns and repairs
- Mechanical maintenance and pipe fitting works
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Call outs and emergency response
- Quoted remedial works
- Minor installation works
- Occasional commissioning support

Requirements
- Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications
- Mechanical / Pipe Fitting experience
- Strong commercial maintenance background
- Good fault-finding skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- PASMA / IPAF beneficial but not essential

£22.00 £25.00 per hour
Company van and fuel card
Gas analyser provided
Standard hand tools supplied
Paid travel time (30 mins deducted each way)

Hours
- 8am - 5pm
- Regular overtime available between 17 00
