HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER - RUGBY, WARWICKSHIRE - TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUNITY - REGULAR ROUTES

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for long-term progression, including temp-to-perm opportunities.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver or Pallet Network Driver.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 - 09:00 starts

Rates of Pay

• £14.83 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Completing multi-drop palletised deliveries around the MK postcodes
• Unloading deliveries by hand or using a pump truck
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
• Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures and delivery schedules

Essential Skills

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

• A valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
• A minimum of 6 months' Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
• A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good spoken and written English

Desirable Experience

• Previous commercial driving experience

Training Provided

• Driver assessment required prior to starting
• Industry-related training and ongoing support
