Handyman -Temporary Contract

Location: Downham Market, Norfolk

The Role:

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to support an upcoming project in Downham Market, Norfolk. This is a temporary position for approximately 10 weeks, working closely alongside an experienced Site Manager on the refurbishment of derelict residential properties.

You will be assisting with a range of general maintenance and second-fix tasks to help bring properties back up to standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with general property refurbishment works
• Door and cabinet adjustments
• Installing door stops and skirting
• Second-fix carpentry works
• Installing shelves, wall units, plinths, and window sills
• Basic lock replacements
• Installing trickle vents and coving
• Toilet pan installations
• Window adjustments
• Supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day tasks as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a handyman or multi-trade operative
• Basic carpentry and general maintenance skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
• Own tools preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive
