This is a fantastic opportunity for an Art Teaching Assistant with a strong background in Art and/or Photography who is looking to gain hands-on experience supporting students within a specialist ARP setting.
The successful Art Teaching Assistant will support either a small group or a single student within the ARP, helping them develop confidence, independence, and technical ability in Art and Photography.
The Role Art Teaching Assistant- Full-time, long-term contract Art Teaching Assistant
- Start Date: September 2026
- Weekly pay: £460 - £500 per week (PAYE)
- Based within a specialist ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision)
- Supporting students with autism and additional learning needs
- Working with GCSE and A-Level Art & Photography students
- 1:1 and small group support
Key Responsibilities Art Teaching Assistant- Deliver tailored support to students studying Art & Photography at GCSE and A-Level
- Provide one-to-one or small group interventions focused on creative development
- Support students with coursework, portfolios and exam preparation
- Build confidence, engagement and independence through structured support
- Provide consistent encouragement to students who may experience anxiety or communication barriers
