As Quality Inspector, you ll be part of a company that designs and manufactures bespoke drive systems and distributes high-quality components across the UK. You ll work in a modern facility with a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
As Quality Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting first-off, roving, and final inspections of components and assemblies
- Creating and maintaining programs and processes for automated measurement equipment
- Liaising with other departments on engineering issues and participating in technical discussions
- Segregating defect parts, reviewing and collating inspection data
- Providing regular feedback on tasks and productivity, and flagging issues early
- Supporting general administration, housekeeping, and company H&S and quality standards
As Quality Inspector, your experience will include:
- Experience in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and terminology
- Skilled in using measurement tools including callipers, micrometres, height gauges, and shadow graphs
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Awareness of Health & Safety practices
