About the role:
As the Recruitment Specialist, you ll play a key role in attracting, hiring and retaining high-quality talent across a designated business area. You ll partner closely with hiring managers, provide expert recruitment support, and ensure a seamless, candidate-centric experience throughout the hiring lifecycle. This role will be based in our Horsham office with the potential with Hybrid working.
Role Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with hiring managers, acting as their first point of contact for recruitment needs
Conduct discovery calls to understand new vacancies and create compelling, optimised job adverts
Post roles across job boards and social channels to attract diverse talent
Proactively source candidates using job boards, social media and smart sourcing techniques
Screen applicants against agreed criteria and coordinate interviews within agreed timeframes
Deliver excellent customer service to both hiring managers and candidates
Manage the offer and compliance process, ensuring consistency and timely completion
Maintain accurate recruitment administration using the ATS
Analyse recruitment data, including time-to-hire and key KPIs
Support the wider TA team to ensure a smooth, efficient recruitment process
Work collaboratively with the wider HR function to deliver a joined-up service
Attend careers fairs, recruitment events and community engagement activities to promote opportunities
Role Criteria:
Previous recruitment experience (in-house or agency)
Friendly and approachable, with the ability to build positive relationships
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
High attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy
Proactive, with the confidence to use initiative and take ownership of tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
Resilient, adaptable and confident making independent decisions
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience with ATS systems (Occupop desirable)
