Your new role
We're looking for an organised and detail-driven Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a friendly, fast-paced business based close to Clifton Triangle. This is a temporary role providing essential sick-leave cover, ideal for someone with strong accounts payable experience who can hit the ground running.Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice processing - matching, batching and coding supplier invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliation and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing the AP inbox and responding to supplier queries
  • Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely payments
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks

What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident using accounting software and Excel
  • Able to work independently and pick things up quickly
  • A positive, proactive attitude
