A regulatory organisation based in Manchester city centre are recruiting a number of Investigation Officers to join their busy team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in protecting the public by making enquiries into complaints.
Your new role

• Gathering, analysing and evaluating evidence to support decision-making
• Conducting initial enquiries through to managing the full investigation process through to referrals.
• Managing a varied caseload of complex investigations, ensuring compliance with legislation

Draft clear, concise summaries and reports for decision-makersLiaise with various stakeholders throughout the processMaintain accurate records within internal systemsParticipate in case review meetings with senior managersEnsure performance targets for quality and timeliness are metSupport safeguarding practices and uphold confidentiality at all timesWhat you'll need to succeed
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information quickly and accuratelyExperience managing complex casework and varied caseloadsExcellent written communication skills, with the ability to explain decisions clearly in plain EnglishAbility to work within structured policies, procedures, and quality standardsHigh level of attention to detail and organisational skillsProven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretionUnderstanding of the regulatory or healthcare environmentExperience presenting information or supporting training deliveryExperience supervising or providing guidance to colleaguesWhat you'll get in return
Hybrid working after the initial first week. 2 days a month in the office
35 hour working week. Monday to Friday. 9am till 5pm
